Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when my licence expires?
You'll receive advance notice by email. There is a grace period where the database continues to run normally. Your data remains fully readable and exportable. We will never lock you out of your own data. After the grace period, new write operations require a valid licence.
Can I upgrade my tier mid-month?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated to the day. You only pay the difference for the remainder of your billing period. Contact sales@supportcall.com.au or use the admin portal.
Is there a free trial of the Enterprise tier?
Yes. A 30-day full-featured Enterprise trial is available. Contact sales@supportcall.com.au with your organisation details. No credit card required for the trial period.
Do you do licence audits?
Never. Your licence is verified locally by the software itself. We have no visibility into your deployment. We will never send an audit team, request deployment records, or issue a true-up bill. Your compliance is between you and your licence key.
How does the SME tier's 20 GB cap work? Do you audit us?
Never. The cap is enforced by the engine itself, locally, with zero phone-home: at 80% you get a log warning, and at the cap new data writes pause while reads and deletes always keep working - so you can free space or upgrade whenever it suits you. No auditor, no true-up, no surprise bill. Startups: apply for our Startup Program to get the SME tier free for 12 months (renewable) - contact sales.
Is there a reseller or wholesale programme?
Yes. SupportCALL ICT Solutions is the principal licensed distributor. If you are an MSP, hosting company, or IT reseller and want to offer Maree-DB to your clients, contact partners@supportcall.com.au for wholesale pricing and your own management portal.
Can Maree-DB run in an air-gapped environment?
Yes. Maree-DB never contacts any external server during normal operation. Licence activation can be completed via USB transfer with no network access required. Once activated, the licence is verified entirely locally. Designed for SCIF and classified environments.
